Formed in 1991 by a small group of forward thinking entrepreneurs with a lifetime of experience supplying and servicing the Construction industry with power tools, construction fasteners, abrasives, accessories and safety equipment, TFS has thrived in the Houston business community. Attention to detail, personal relationships and assistance in meeting the OSHA, environmental and other needs of the customer has allowed TFS to become separately identified and elevated above its competition.

History of TFS

TFS was formed to expand the reach of its sister Company and founder, Southwest Bolt, Inc, (SBI) which has made a substantial footprint in the construction markets within the Houston metropolitan area. Initially operating out of extra space available at that location, the growth curve of both operations was such that it quickly became apparent that a new location would have to be established to accommodate TFS’s expansion. It was at this point in the mid-1990’s that TFS moved to its current premises located on the Sam Houston tollway at the Northern end of the West Belt. TFs outgrew its initial 6,000 square feet of office and warehouse space and, in the mid-2000’s expanded by adding an additional 4,000 square feet of contiguous space at its current location.

Well capitalized and, with a standing on site-inventory of over $1 million, TFS is uniquely positioned to sell to and service its wide ranging array of products into the local construction contracting market.

TFS epitomizes forward thinking and has the confidence to lead the industry in the coming years through the enhancement of the work performed by its customer base and the markets they serve.
